Campus Visit
Sample Agenda for the 2006 Fisher Season Premiere

Choosing an MBA program is largely a matter of personal fit. Prospective students need to be comfortable with the program, faculty, potential peers, and their surroundings. In 1998, The Ohio State University opened the existing, self-contained Fisher College of Business campus. Our state-of-the-art buildings feature web-based instructional support, video conferencing, and satellite capabilities; wireless internet; and a significant number of break-out rooms for small groups. All of it is housed in facilities displaying an impressive collection of original artwork by some the nation's most compelling artists.
Since Fisher College is part of the greater Ohio State campus, our students are within walking distance to dining facilities and other departments, as well as excellent recreational facilities. The Fisher Campus is just north of downtown Columbus, a vibrant cosmopolitan area, complete with major league sports, world class visual and performing arts, extensive metro parks, and exciting nightlife.
Individual Campus Visit
We invite you to visit our campus so that you can complete your personal research. We will be happy to set up and personalize your visit. You will have the opportunity to meet with members of the MBA Admissions Committee, faculty, and current MBA students; sit in one of our MBA classes; and get a tour of the campus. If you are interested in visiting, please contact our student ambassadors at mba@fisher.osu.edu. Personalized visits are available from October 1st to May 30th; however, should you wish to schedule a visit outside this calendar, you can reach our admissions counselors by calling +1 (614).292.8511.
On-Campus Information Sessions
Our MBA admissions team also organizes monthly information sessions about our MBA program, which are typically held on Fridays. These sessions are one-hour presentations that provide a useful summary of Fisher MBA program highlights. In addition to the presentation, there is a Q&A session in which you can ask questions and learn from other prospective applicants’ questions.
We offer a campus tour, as well as a class visit, with our information sessions. To find out more and sign up for an upcoming information session, please call +1 (614).292.8511 or sign up here.

Red Carpet Weekend for Admitted Students
The 2008 Red Carpet Weekend is scheduled for April 4th weekend.
In each admissions cycle we organize a weekend for our accepted students, one of many opportunities to learn the ins and outs of being an MBA student at Fisher College, as well as what opportunities exist for our MBAs once they graduate and join the Fisher alumni network. This exciting and fun event is held on our Fisher College campus and allows the participants a chance to meet and connect with Fisher representatives and other weekend participants on an informal basis.
In 2007, the event was kicked off with a breakfast in the Gerlach Graduate Student Lounge. Following breakfast, there were a number of presentations and workshops designed to give the incoming students details about our college and the MBA program. This was followed by a faculty panel discussion. After a break for lunch, there were further panel discussions on topics involving career services and placement aspects, as well as brief lectures and case discussions by our faculty - the latter providing the admitted students with a taste of what it means to be part of the MBA classroom. The evening session involved a dinner and the students were able to watch the NCAA Final Four on the big screen! As we all expected, our Buckeyes defeated Georgetown handsomely.
For those participants who plan to bring partners to Columbus during their time as an MBA student, we offer a meeting with the Fisher MBA Partners Club that discusses options and activities for MBA partners. Our Fisher College team is more than happy to provide you with any tips or help, should you have questions as to where to go and what to visit.
Overall, the weekend is a unique event where you will be able to meet and network with current MBA students, Fisher College faculty, alumni, MBA Admissions Committee members, and of course, your future classmates. It allows you to get a real feel for the place and to determine whether you would like to make our community your own.
